A couple of weeks back I helped out at St Ives Food Festival selling ‘pic n mix’ fudge for my boyfriends business, The Cornish Larder (TCL).
It was an exhausting 3 days with early morning starts and late night finishes with my other job however it was so worth it getting TCL name out there.
The Friday was a bit of a right off due to the weather, it poured down 75% of the day and of course people were still at work and school. On Saturday the weather was a lot more in our favour with glorious sunshine to start the day, this soon changed to pouring rain (good ol’ UK eh!) however it meant everyone rushed into the tent for cover and our fudge sales went through the roof!
Sunday was another brilliant day with the sun shining alllllll day. It seemed to be even busier than the Saturday which was brilliant and we managed to sell out!
Over the 3 days you got to know a lot of the other stallholders and so I managed to get round and photograph some of the other stalls. Below are some shots from the day.
Also, I HAVE A NEW CAMERA! These were all taken on that and I am absolutely loving it. I will do the big reveal in an upcoming post soon.
A bit of a short blog post today but I’ve just come back from a wonderful stay in an Airbnb which will be up on the blog soon too, lots planned!
