As a child I was very fortunate enough to go on many holidays to various places around the world. Growing up this instilled a need for adventure and exploring which I have continued to do. Every year Truro puts on a parade of lanterns made by the local schools and colleges for people to enjoy whilst the Christmas lights get switched on. Last year it was postponed due to weather until January 2018 so we have effectively had 2 this year! Luckily last nights one went ahead, although hail and a downpour of rain did make an appearance. Treasure trails have been a firm favourite of mine for the past couple of years ever since my boyfriend introduced me to them when we met. It is such a brilliant concept – you put your postcode in online and it lists all the treasure trails in your area. Pick one, purchase, print and go! Obviously there is no pot of gold at the end of the trail or a box full of jewels but the point of the trails are to get you outdoors exploring parts of the UK you wouldn’t necessarily do. Ev
For the past 10 days I have been back up country spending time with family and friends in Hampshire.
